Vishnu Rope Miracle - Robert Ellis

DESCRIPTION

This cut and restored rope gem was first released by Robert Ellis in 1943. Here's the original write-up: A seven foot length of soft rope and a pair of scissors are shown by the magician. He holds one end of the rope up, and with the scissors, about two-thirds down, he cuts the rope in two. The ends are tied together, then holding the rope up again he cuts the longest rope in half, again tying a knot. Please remember that the rope is cut twice and that there are actually three pieces of rope seen. Another knot is tied, making the rope into a circle, and holding the rope in his left hand, the magician cuts the knots away. The mystical Hindu Word is spoken, VISHNU, and behold a miracle, the rope is restored.
