And while the ease of working is certain to appeal to the newcomer to card magic, Thompson also offers several moves in the second part of the book of value to the more experienced magician. These include a pretty slick turnover peek of a card after a riffle selection and his excellent, yet surprisingly easy to master, Controlled Double Lift.
