Then he just makes a mime like a tap two feet above each volunteers arm. Even though their eyes are closed, they both feel the touch, that was never made. The mentalist simply thinks of a touch, and they respond.
Next the mentalist taps the spectator on the left. Both volunteers feel it. Then he taps the spectator on the right, the spectator on the left feels it. The mentalist taps both, and neither feels it. Then the spectator taps neither and then both feel it. This is a beautifully choreographed psychic thought transference.
